Has the league provided any updates regarding potential resumption?

Also heard on a jobsite the South Gawler president is stepping down? Any truth to this?

One of two choices, theyre going it alone and starting on May 23rd, keen to be the 1st sport back and cash in or they will be told by the governing body of the State, pick one ;)

Better than nothing I suppose. Majority if not all clubs were very keen to play and by time the season starts crowd numbers shouldn’t be capped

So whats the difference from other years? Lets face it by mid July most teams would be facing this problem every other year if they had a poor start to the season.

I think being a top 3 only makes it a little more difficult. Most years in the comp there are two standout sides and 3-4 others in the mix.
Bizarre year so everyone will just have to cop it and move on

Absolutely, i know all of our Adelaide based players are returning, they love the environment they are playing their footy in now and want to win a flag.

Great idea.
Should become a regular thing. I know your mob would like a top 6 after the top 5 failed last year ;)
Most teams will still be alive with 3 or 4 games to go, thats more than in a normal season.

Any predictions?
I think it will be an all Barossa Finals series and the word is the club thats not involved on the day to host the final.
Am hearing there might be some pretty handy players getting around in reserves teams that cant play A Grade because teams are full on points. Seems like the Amateur league wont get all the idle players and i imagine the Hills and close Southern leagues might be the same

Top 8 and I doubt we would still make finals this year.
All Barossa finals definitely, good thing I have other things to do at that time of year [emoji3]

so you agree, youre saying they will lose interest at exactly the same point in the season they normally would, strange

im pretty sure no one will be losing interest at 0-2. The teams that expect to be in that position, well nothing has changed for them and if anyone unexpectedly ends up 0-2, well im sure they wont be throwing in the towel
5-3 likely gets you into 3rd spot or if all games go as expected then 6-2 would be needed, either way 0-2 you arent giving the game away.

Im really not sure what your point is other than being a negative nancy

Social distancing and covid plans with restrictions will be in place for a while, it is more than playing footy.

Possible influx of players to nearby BL and G clubs from clubs with leagues not going ahead
Can adults do this ?
Can kids do this ?
