Is the talk of Central Oval being available for finals a furphy or a reality?

Just to get this thread going abit before the start of the season I might just start with seeing who we rate in the SGL, for instance who do you rate in the SGL for each area of the ground (forward, back, midfield, ruckmen and the Mr fix its that can play in any possy when called upon). Might start off by throwing few names out there to get all you experts thinking.

forwards:Page (west) Schmidt (south)H.Warren (west) R.Morris (cent)McIntyre (soll)Harmer (props) backs: L.Button (cent) R.Hobbs (west) C.Mudge(solly) ruck: M.Fuller T.Warren Magor Margitich mids: R.Struck (south) Dadleh (west) Phillips (port) Rogers (props)
fix its Stapleton (west) B.Ley (props) J. Collins (south)

The League use a 6 year rotation system I believe so noone has anything to complain about really. From a brief look at the programme West look like they have a dream run this year but as I said it is said to even out. South have a similar fixture to Centrals maybe slightly worse in fact looking at the Sunday draws.
The main complaint I have heard is Centrals not playing a game at their "home" ground. I don't know if this is so the League don't lose bar takings or because it is deemed as a home ground advantage that the other PA teams don't have as it stands. In my view the bar takings counter argument would be that South look likely to gain the bar license at the new complex. I believe the Lions can't operate their clubrooms at Memorial Oval games but have the license for all these games. Can anyone shed any light on the facts re Centrals not having a game at ETSA or any other perceived inequities in the League?

Rate? Or over rate ? Bit confusing with some of these names . A "few" haven't struck to many blows over the last couple of seasons

I will sit on the fence for Round 1 Alltruth but it looks as though these games could go either way. Close year is my tip.

"Development Ray" gave some workmates a good laugh in the local paper today. How old is Redden looking these days too!! These types of articles are great I reckon but I wonder why we can't get Pirie's team writeups also??

Due to populer demand and no more media bans Old Cella Dwella is back. Reckon Polly has a good head for footy (and radio and will get the best out of these boys. Didt see first game but got told Pollys Sollys were so hard at the ball we made the Chequebookers look like a team of Julian Clarys. Squids look out in the Anzac game tomorrow hey.

Ports had a good win over arch rival Sollies Anzac Day with coach Damien Mellow kicking 6. Wouldnt be many coaches playing nowadays.

Most would have picked the card last week, although the margins might have surprised .
Is the ladder at the end of Round 4 a fair indicator of the end of the likely order come finals time?
