Spot on there MP!! Cant believe that Hammand isnt in there, He would be one of very few that actually would make it from us. Looks like the selectors have choosen purely on names of players not recent form. Oh well best of luck to eveyone in the squad!

If he is not guilty then he is not guilty. you can only go by what the PLFL have found.

the verdict makes lincoln magpie look a bit silly :oops: 8-}

Every person I've spoke to says he did it, and they've all said "make an example of him," yet he was found not guilty..

A lot of people must've been smoking the peace pipe...

On that, what has Bluey Dunn been smoking??? Building himself up a bit in the Times today... ;)

and KWF

Ken Whelan Fan wrote: why then did the reporter omit the reporting of the Souths Player and the melee involving
the Souths Runner who also got reported.

probably because it was not worth mentioning as they were both found not guilty. Report on the footy not the melee's I say

Pretty Pi$$ week everyone at the ground saw the guy run out from the trainers box into the melee
made contact and dragged rooster player off of a South player.
the only debatable point was did he strike Dodd.
No wonder people dont want to be umpires.
O/L my point still remains the reporter needs to be unbiased in his job

This is getting laughable, it is only the way you guys are interpreting the sentence that deems it biased. The phone calls and people dropping in to the Times office demanding apologies/retractions is embarrasing. FFS isn't your side doing well this year, seems to be the only thing that's changed.....
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

I'd love to umpire... it just gets in the way of my greater preference for sledging...

Got MP's money today- thanks.

Exactly right. It depends how you interpret it. Each to their own. Dont like it Dont read it. Whats the world coming to if you cant put in football reveiw that 'someone came of second best and took no further part in the game'. Play on!

Sometimes djd, but usually sit in front of the canteen to get a better look. Definitely will be this week as I've been asked to do the write-up for the Times. I guess it will be my turn to have the p**s taken out them ;)
