Clash Jumpers

Postby The Angry Bull » Wed Jul 21, 2010 1:56 pm

Out of interest are there any country sides that use a clash jumper?????? After chatting with a few lads on the weekend we feel its time for a clash jumper as it is becoming increasingly harder to distinguish between our jumpers and those of some of the other clubs in the league.

We wear an orange vest at training. Perhaps that could fix the problem

Langhorne Creek have a clash jumper that we wear against Mt Compass and we used to wear against Yankalilla before they changed their jumpers. It's not so much that we clash that much with anyone... we just have a training jumper that all the players bought and thought it would be good to give them a run every now and again.

we have a navy jumper with a small white v... a few years ago for a footy trip we organized jumpers with reversed colours which look great and most own too.

its not a total clash but the jumpers that cause a problem are a tigers guernsey and a dark blue eagles jumper. The BSR tigers jumper has always been questioned but the minman eagles jumper has only recently changed to a darker blue from a greenish tinge, which causes frustration.

Not a clash 'jumper' but Boston wears white shorts when it plays Mallee Park in the Port Lincoln league.

Kapunda in the BL&G have two jumpers, one for home games and one for away. The home is the traditional Essendon red sash on black, but the away jumper is a version of an older club jumper, red with lack V, with white shorts. Other teams in the league also have alternate strips; great for clashes.
