That was magnificent radio and obviously a magnificent goal. The whole thing was the highlight of my day today! Absolutely full marks to ABC Radio getting out and about in the country - the only game that seemed to rival it was that one at Virginia where someone hit the post with 20 seconds left. To listen to a GF where a guy has a kick after the siren to win it or lose it was sen-bloody-sational! It's gonna be a big night in Strath tonight!

PS, I also felt for two people afterwards - the guy who missed the kick, and the goal umpire! I hope the point was a clear point! Jeez he/she must have been trembling as the ball sailed towards the sticks!

Apparently the circumstances were - 25m out, 45 degree angle, bucketing with rain.

Listened to a bit of it myself, much better coverage this year, sounds like they took on the feedback from last year when they were awful covering the HFL GF
