KI has also produced Brenton Lovering (Port Adelaide), Bradley Crabb (Souths current vice captain), Luke Bowd (South), Matthew Thomas (South) David Florance (Sturt/South), Trevor Bates (Port Adelaide) who have all played SANFL footy at some stage. These are the ones I know of anyway.

The Wheaton talked about previously was Jason.

Thanks ni. Knew there were a few I'd missed. Definitely the first three.
Are Cleve Hughes and Gavin Hughes twins? I thought they may have come from another Hills club?

Eddie Betts was then a 15-year-old boy in Port Lincoln who was on the fast lane to a life of drugs and crime.

His parents had separated years earlier and he had spent most of his life living with his mother in Kalgoorlie, from where she travelled for tonight's game.

Betts made the decision that he could further his football career by returning to South Australia to live with his father Eddie, who had spent time in jail.

He joined the Mallee Park Peckers - a club which had produced AFL stars including his cousin Byron Pickett, Graham Johncock and the Burgoyne brothers, Peter and Shaun - when his mother intervened.

No not twins, not sure were Gavin is from. A mate told me Cleve only has a younger brother. Did Cleve play league footy for Norwood? pretty sure he didn't.

Orroroo (ten or 11 premierships in Northern Areas I think) has spilled out North Adelaide legend and SANFL Hall of Famer Mick Redden and state centre half back Lachie Bowman.

Thanks wcp.

Wouldn't have been in Lincoln too long as he was playing for the Vics in the U18's when he was 16.
