NAFA had over 20 blokes out to training on Sunday morning. Apparently it all went well. Classy Crystal Brook ruckman Adam Noonan strained his ankle on Saturday but one of th eselectors I spoke to said Noon's will come up okay.

Isn't the idea that the zone side is picked from this carnival? I guess it makes it easier for the selectors if there aren't any others involved?

As soon as Central Zone won the carnival in Berri in 2006 the pinheads who run football in Adelaide figured that had better dilute CZ's power base so they shafted Northern Areas and took them out of CZ and put them with the SGFL and Whyalla and Roxby and of course the team has struggled since.
