Goolwa had a bloke named Peter Rea (spelling?) coach them about 10 years ago, came from Mitchell Park I think. Ruckman/forward type, was quite a big bloke.

when i saw him play wasp he didnt stretch the front of the guernsey like i stretch the cat on mine. he would have just about ate a wool press for breakfast each morning. he would have been one of the fairest players going around and his record speaks for it self

ben hogan is a big rig and only getting bigger played for lincoln south, elliston played a few games for north whyalla and the played for roopeena he filled out his jumper pretty well

Played a game of cricket against Hoges recently, thought he may have lost a couple of kg's since the Lincoln South days. ;)

Terry Duckford who played 2nds back in the Quorn wolves days.
kicked 100+ in a season i think too

Is he a fisherman ..... reckon he played a few games on Kangaroo Island quite a few years back ..... sizeable bloke for sure if im thinking the same guy

i remember my 2nd a grade game ever against mt barker and he was playing, he could've killed me at 1 stage but he pulled out thank god. must've seen how young i was and thought better of it
