'Scott Collison (Central Whyalla): Collo was the dominant forward in the league for at least three or four seasons. Almost as wide as he is tall, Collo was quick off the mark, had a good set of hands and a brilliant shot for goal. Used to kick bags and was virtually unstoppable.'

Hugh unit! But could play, one of the straightest kicks of the footy I have seen. Could've went alot further.

Merrett is his last name from & plays with Penola, seen him play a couple of times in the KNTFL. Also played a season at higher level in the WBFL with West Gambier; can play the game and the better the standard the better he plays.

Also played at CYP Cougars for at least one year.

what about Rick Modra older brother of Tony played full forward for Renmark in early 90's, he was one scarey man built like a brick S##t house and didn't mind a bit of a scuffle

Good bloke to have on your team. Wouldn't like beiing a defender in those days. He was alergic to training as well - just ran laps and kicked for goal.

The two Venables - Brenton and Tony - were big rigs who could seriously play too.
Played a lot of footy in the same side as Rick.
Would have been quite intimidating coming up against that lot.

Wasn't it the Southern Eagles when Lester Ross was coaching? I was playing over there then and reckon he played for the Eagles - not the Crows or Cougars. He terrorised Renmark when in the Riverland. Just mark him down for 10. Unmovable and good kick for goal.
