[flash=][/flash]Do you know where Gill, Harrison, Vincent and Fry have gone Local? That's maybe 4 of Goolwa's best 6-7 last year. With Cooper gone to Victor, that's 5 of their best 6-7 out from last year.

According to the club announcement, Has taken a full time job at Sturt, including coaching the U18s. I think he was working at the SANFL.

My info is that Myponga might escape sanction for Ahmet Watkins flights, even though it was acknowledged that flights were not available for $400. Amazing  . I guess for huge sponsors of the SANFL, the rules can be changed.

If exemption was given (as rumoured), I'm sure there will be a memo out to every other club in the state, stating exactly what that exemption was an how they can apply it to their clubs recruiting. (Wish there was a sarcastic emoji)

Do you really think Myponga wouldve cheated in broad daylight? Really brave or dumb thing to so if true

Probably an extension of the waiving from the year before that some of the "real" (furthur away from the metro) country clubs got the year before with Covid as the reason

Feel free to put your tinfoil hat back on now though

No tinfoil here! It's not a matter of thinking they cheated, but they definitely broke the rules as they are described in the CFB own Rules and Regulations, which all other clubs had to adhere to in the GSFL (I'm writing GSFL because as you mentioned, maybe some further away country clubs received an exemption during the COVID year)
31.2.3.10 Travel – Flights Total Player Payments relief will apply to Clubs for airfares for travel to play in Matches provided that such relief is limited to $400.00 per Player per Match. Ahmat Watkins played 16 games last year & was flown from Darwin for the majority of those. No way were return flights under $400, in fact they were around $900 as I knew a bloke who wanted to play a couple games but wasn't willing for it to cost him $500 to do it.
