We aren't really going to know likely grand finalists until ins and outs are confirmed, which is a long way off at the moment.

Ummm....Victor finished 7th this year guys. I think if you'd have told me that just before the first bounce of the season I'd have thought that wouldn't be too bad given the players we'd lost. But over the year it became apparent that the guys that have come up from the colts have plenty of talent and when it all clicked we were a pretty good unit. BUT it didn't click very often and in the end 7th was a below par effort.

Heaven forbid that the committee 1. review the season and 2. act in response accordingly so the club can keep and develop the great young squad we have, and then work hard to target key imports to help with that continued improvement. That's just crazy stuff hey

I guess all the other clubs are sitting on their hands?

As for signings, I'm sure WOW will let us know who, what, when and for how much. :) ;)

Kaniva are one of the biggest paying clubs going around so agree wow would have to be a few zeros to pouch players from them.
Agree with you 'fod' you do need a few more recruits but not many as you have good juniors coming thru, that you don't want to miss out in the a grade. Similar to strath u lost a lot of players in 2012 gave the young locals a go and weren't disgraced a good rebuilding year that may not show for another year or two?
Talking about strath, our new coach for next year is tony burgess who has been involved in the sanfl system for the last ten years or so. A great appointment by the club tony will pass on a wealth of knowledge and discipline to the roosters in 2013.

$750 a game, 18 games is $13'500 to play country football, very handy cash to play an hour from town! $27000 for 2 midfielders, very good midfielders but that's huge cash! A product of the points system and the fact that players prices have been driven up because of it!

Well done to Saucy getting them at Victor if theyve indeed signed, add them to Ryan, Hodge, Graham, Whatman, Iljcesen and the young local boys at the club, Victor are assembling a handy squad! Expect to see Victor Harbor climbing the ladder next season!

Any word on the Strath coach? Creek boys all going around again? Any of the sides that missed the 5 recruiting hard?

For some it's not about the money. I hear you got offered $800 per game BJ? Refused to budge!
