Only a Rumor but defiantly docent surprise me beacuse Fact Sellar is getting paid more than a marque player and Langhorne creek don't have a marque player on there books and also bringing in McGregor who had issues with Kyby

I'd have NFI who gets what so im declining to comment other than Im surprised you claim to have intimate knowledge of what Sellar is FACTUALLY receiving. Also im not sure what McGregor having issues at Kyby has got to do with playing half a dozen games for the Creek this season ? A community he has spent almost 10 years around playing footy and cricket for.

Doesn't every premiership side across the state theoretically get the salary cap once over anyway?

Thought that used to be the case.

Not the first time I’ve heard what Local GSFL man has said about Sellar. But any investigation of Creeks books wouldn’t show anything.
When McGregor and Helyar started mid season there were a lot of raised eyebrows around the league.

I have heard some investigations were commenced before the finals commenced this year, with an SFL club having to open its books.

Hill, a 198cm key forward, played three League matches for Glenelg between 2015-2017 before spending the last two seasons in the Great Southern Football League at Myponga-Sellicks.

On Hill’s signing CEO Luke Powell said, “Damien has been on our radar for a couple of years now. He has spent the last two seasons at local level playing a variety of roles and is now keen to have another crack at League football. We are excited to have Damien come to our Club and we see plenty of opportunity for him to establish himself as a League player in 2020 and beyond.”

Myponga have probably lost there best player and most reliable in 2019 I wonder who they will pick up next season

Some are even saying shareholders in certain Wineries? Good luck proving that I’d say. Young lads these days could invest money to no surprises.

There will always be some that will raise their eye brows when a club attracts key players as the Creeks have been able to do for a long period of time.

Anyone from Compass able to confirm the signing of Sam Haniford?

Rod Mitchell to coach Myponga. Quality signing.

Is that the Sam Haniford who played C grade for Fitzroy in 2017?

Didn’t Haniford play in the Mid South East this season? Pretty good player by all accounts. Interesting to see how he goes in the GSFL if this is true

MSFC is excited to announce the appointment of our 2020 A grade coach Rod Mitchell
Rod has a very impressive coaching record including 5 seasons at Flagstaff Hill where he took the A grade from 10th to 3 premierships in a row in that time!
He has either coached or played in 25 grand finals over his decorated career.
Originally from Clare where he holds the record for most senior games played he knows all about country footy.
Please welcome Rod and his wife Fiona to the Myponga - Sellicks Football Club

Haniford has played Reserves for North Adelaide, for Woodville South, Nuriootpa, Fitzroy (C Grade with mates) and last season down the south east and probably another club or two. Has relocated to Compass for work.

Very handy footballer. Don’t let his stint in C Grade fool you.

I’m hearing Nick Liddle has signed with Yankalilla. Early favourite for the Mail Medal if true.
