I think Myponga have far better depth than Yank. Yanks outs were only 2 that will improve them , my mail is Hinge may be right by late 2nd round but given the way the season may unfold , I think it will be next season.

Ty Allen will be massive for Myponga and the Colts they have coming through will develop under his input.

The Season should be a beauty but I think the gap between 1st and 10th will be huge.

What has happened with Cam McDonald, notice South Adelaide have sent him to Willunga this week, but I thought he was a McLaren player?

I think everyone on here knows there's a lot more to it then that Lex. McLaren are notorious for having juniors leave ..

club loyalty isn't wasn't it used to be unfortunately , they have left for greener pastures in their mind. Funny that altus still plays cricket at McLaren because they have a better cricket team... I wonder if that's why he was named in the twos last week
It would be great to see the tables turned in a great ANZAC night match next week.

innocent bystander this is a ridiculous comment you muppet. You obviously do not know Braden Altus do ya. I know him well and can tell you that Braden likes to take his sport seriously whether its cricket or footy. The McLaren Footy Club care more about partying, drinking and their social calendar than they do about winning games of footy. The McLaren Cricket club are more serious about results and training. Thus the reason why Braden went to Willunga, a club with a strong winning culture and are very much results driven.

I understand loyalty with these young guys is wiltering and it is shocking to see but maybe some clubs who are losing a lot of players need to look at their own backyard and club culture before whinging and moaning

Myponga v Goolwa ...... Goolwa 22 points. IMO money wins every time (even if its owed)
Yank v E/bay ...... E/bay 120 points
Compass v Creek ....... Compass by 42 points- should be finals contenders if they can ignore whats happening with the rest of their club
Victor v McLaren ....... Victor 5 points like previously money talks but will be great game

Welcome Eclipse.
Willunga, Pongy, Bays, Compass, Victor.

Good to hear that Pongy and McLaren have managed to lure their big names without coin. Impressive.

Think that is a bit harsh. If you look at the history of the family then you may reassess your opinion. If he plays at Willunga, it will mean that 4 generations will have represented the club, something that is quite an achievement.
My mail is, he was offered a tidy sum to go to Barmera but declined for the above reason. I would also think that the way McLaren have handled the transfer then they have burnt any chance of a return in future years.

Who locked the changeroom doors for the tiges at half time? Clearly didn't come out after half time. They played good attacking footy and their attack on the ball and opposition was very good in first half. They should have been up by atleast 4 goals at the break.

I can't see Yank bothering anyone this year , Goolwa by plenty this week . I think the Magpies will surprise a few , definitely a Finals side ( although very early call ) but there will be a couple of changes in the top 5 I believe. Myponga is the other one I expect to be there as well. I don't know what Yank need to do to improve , you cant keep buying blokes to top up your A's. Depth is a real issue I think right through the Club.

Creeks showed about 300% improvement on their 1st few matches to down Strath by 5 goals.
After kicking the 1st 5 goals of the game, Creeks resisted several strong challenges from Strath throughout the night to get their 1st win on the board whilst last seasons premiers remain winless after 3 rounds.
With both teams well down on strength from recent years, it hard to see either team playing finals but with the way results have gone already, nothing would surprise.
