Yeah hoping Lobethal get through just because they are a better chance to challenge Hahndorf the following week and stop their run of premierships.

It’s looking great, the whole committee and other volunteers have done an outstanding job.
Hopefully the rain for tomorrow is not as heavy as forecasted, and the oval stays in good shape until the A’s start.

Nairne have had no team’s training for weeks so it should look good. But i see theyre closing car parking, the beauty may be just on the surface. Its going to be scramble for parking, and with a live stream I can see crowds will be down.

Theres going to be a strong westerly blowing and unlike most ovals that run north-south, nairne runs east-west so wind will be blowing down the slope. Goals from the centre? A Div 1 Grand Final should be on the best ground, sorry but no offence to Nairne thats not at Nairne Oval. Theres slim pickings of ideal ovals, but Callington and the Summit come to mind. And dont roll out excuses why the summit couldn’t be used, theyre shallow excuses.

Hahndorf by 8 points, Id like to see a team with all locals beat any team with outside players (I know theyve won their fair share, but you deserve to reap what you sow.

Yeah Nairne Oval is looking pretty good. I played on it about 2 months ago and it was starting to look a little ify then but has come up nicely with a bit less traffic it over the last few weeks.

Blackwoods taken out both the Mini and Junior Colts flags so far. Pretty tough conditions at Nairne with most the scoring to one end of the ground.

Blackwood take all 3 in the juniors and Lofty with the B grade.

Wind was much worse than any rain out there this morning, made it a tough day for all, Nairne did a great job.

Yeah ground holding up really well despite all the rain.
Wind is the killer today probably only 2 goals kicked against it all day. As soon as Hahndorf didn't put on a lead in the 3rd Qtr of the B Grade they pretty much knew it would be hard to hold onto the lead in the last against the breeze

Congrats to Nairne, for their food and drink set up. Terrible conditions for the hosts.
So Lobey get it done, well done to them. Corona man Echunga didnt appear so careful throwing stones, didnt your Bs fall arse over in the GF onky recently lol.
Are we seeing a changing of tye guard in Div 1? A cracker finals series in both comps.

What a dirty day for Hahndorf and it wasn't just the conditions.

Their Junior Colts were hit by a Karma Bus after recent events within the HFL.
Their B grade were run over ironically by a Mount Lofty team that was stacked.

The horrendous conditions on Saturday clearly didn't suit them in the main event. Not much run and carry from the, just bash and crash footy. Thought they were very stiff to be pipped at the post by a talented Lobey team. Congratulations to the Tigers for breaking a 20 year drought.

Great effort by both sides, Hahndorf with no import players, all ex juniors & Lobey only had 3 I think, the rest all ex juniors
