Watched the GF live on YouTube, the local broadcast have come along way since I last watched something they produced. Great for the comp.

Uradlia were impressive for much of the game, just Hahndorf had the answers when it mattered most. Will be nice to finally see someone else taking the cup home other then the magpies next year.

Mitch Grigg supposedly signed for Lobethal next year.

While talking about rumours, anyone aware if the ex crow boys that played for Hahndorf this year will be on the move to Unley Jets? Scott Thompson has been appointed as the new head coach for 2022, and have hard he has approached Jaensch and co.

Be very surprised. Cheney apparently loving it there and Jaensch is a born and bred Hahndorf Magpie. Although I don't think they'd be upset seeing Petrencko going to the Jets.

Must be moving back to Victoria as he's gone back home to his junior club the Warrack Eagles in Country Vic to play in 2022.

Are the new HFL Board enforcing the no juniors no Div 1 rule?

That would put a few clubs at risk I would assume.
Echunga failed to put in 18's and 14's last year
Bridgewater also failed to fill spots with a combined Ironbank squad.
Lobethal was combined with Gumeracha I believe

I doubt Echunga would have asked to come down they have recruited well in the off season
Bridgewater after 1 year would be quiet optimistic after a great 1st year back and a fair bit happening at their home ground.

Do you wish to share any further details on which club and why?

New board are being very strong on 5 games between 2 clubs per day per venue I believe, pretty much confirm with EFC's recent FB post, they are doing everything they can, lets hope they can get the teams together.

Lets hope any time (or combined clubs) can field the full quota of teams to make Div 1 a bigger and better comp. Previous years the inept league have just accepted any club fielding whatever teams they can in Div 1 rather than abiding by the constitution. All for the league enforcing the rules/constitution as it is; after all its the Clubs who voted on it so the league should abide by it.
