If true that is two good pick ups for Echunga.
They only need to find 8 or 9 more players to be competitive.

Excuse me for being captain obvious, but why has it taken this long to have the AGM???

Anyway lets focus on field. I am sure all clubs are madly trying to shore up their list with comings and going.
Any updates???

Its been the 1st Monday in December (nominate board positions etc) & 1st Monday in February (finalise everything) for a few years now. Can anyone confirm if this is still right as I'm not involved anymore.

A rumour no more so we now have 2 X 9 team comps as no Div 2 side wants to come up. So most players should be relatively fresh come finals with 2 byes, the June long weekend off and the country championship weekend off.

Any chance of dropping a second so it becomes a 8-10?

The two (if not three) A Grade premiership medals he has are a good indicators of his quality.

With that being the case I will amend my statement, to satisfy your criteria.

The Div 1 A grade flag Jack won in 2014 is enough to deem him a quality football player.

There is no doubt that a premiership in any grade is something to treasure, and why we all play!
But to suggest that just because someone has played in a premiership he is quality is not necessarily the case surely.
Plenty of ordinary footballers have managed to win premiership medallions.
I don't know anything about the guy you are talking about, but there is a long list of guys who were in the right place at the right time, in many leagues!

Jacks a good honest footballer. Doesn't give his opponent an inch. Hard worker, very fit, and very hard to play on. Would have been in Echunga's top 10 in the seasons he has played there I would have thought.
