Maybe in the B Grade.

Not in the A Grade

But in saying that. Stranger things have happened Grand Final day. Hahndorf won their first flag in 2015 as a big underdog

The B grade should be a good encounter, Uraidla play the stop start game they will get up, if Hahndorf can open it up and run they will get up. Weather might play into Uraidlas hands.

Ill pick Uraidla under a goal.

It would be really strange if Onkas got over Hahndorf, I cant see them defending against all the key forwards Hahndorf and cant see where they will be able to kick enough goals against Hahndorfs defence.

Tipping Hahndorf to make it 4 titles in 5 years by 5 goal.

Lobethal spending up big, would the couple star additions allow them to make up the ground on Hahndorf?

They were competitive late in the season with a couple of wins. Another year into their young locals & the 3-4 big recruits they're getting should see them up there.
Apart from Hahndorf it was actually a close season.

Noticed today Hahndorf have the GPS trackers in their jumpers. Any other amateur clubs do this

Wow really?! That's next level if true. I guess these sorts of things are getting cheaper and I'm sure there's a few players that would run a bit harder if they knew it was being tracked

Onkas will make up ground quickly with their reported in's.

It's also rumoured a couple of the big names from Hahndorf are fielding offers so this could bring them slightly back to the pack if true. If we lose the best mid and FF in the comp as rumoured, then it’s game on 2020.

How many of the Hahndorf players WOULDNT be getting offers?! They seem to have the ability to retain existing and attract new players - who would want to leave a winning formula? Unless of course its to chase dollars. And if Hahndorf lost a couple, Im sure they would pick up a couple to fill the gap!

The Grand Final they used 4 of their 8 points, Onkas used 8 of their 12. Both teams have room for more ins.

Hope so. It's been too long for us, been close a few times but just haven't got the W on that final day. We were 2-3 gun players short of Hahndorf on Saturday. 16 of the 21 played juniors for us (would have been 17 if Adcock didn't get injured in the prelim) so thats a good sign.

I have heard this as well. Matsen is as good as gone to Mypolonga in the RMFL and Hourigan is headed across the freeway to Nairne with his younger brother.

Honestly though, I dont know that it will matter much if they do lose two or three. From what I have been told, a number of players playing in Victoria were going to make a come back this year, but were told not to bother as there were no spots for them. Hate to say it, Hahndorf will be a powerhouse for some time to come. Cant rely on them slipping for sides to beat them, clubs will have to cash and compete with them toe to toe.

Heard a rumour on the weekend another "just" ex Crow is a chance of being at Hahndorf ?
They certainly have the points - but how do they maintain the salary cap?

Agree, they'll be dominant for a while with all their premiership juniors over the last 10 years coming through. Plus a heap of those juniors now at Sturt so if they come back, look out.

Was certainly a very good game of football imho. Hahndorf dominated the first half but Onkas actually turned it around in the 3rd quarter but just couldn't get much result from all the forward 50 entries that they had.
