Definitely Trev 'Poppa Smurf' ..... And from reading the positions vacant in this weeks Courier, looks like he's been up to his old tricks again.

The boardroom walls have ears .... so have heard the 2 A grade umpires he's been slagging off about behind their backs might be keen to have a face to face chat .....

With such destructive behaviour, no wonder the HFL removed your name from their GF B.O.G medals .....

There stats dont look great in div 4 which wouldn't be close to the div 1 in the hills (contrary to what city folk beleive) but stats can be a little misleading. Harland is a massive lose as is liston (i assume ur saying liston has gone to) as thats ur best forward and defender plus carey isnt there everyweek which hurts as hes the best player in the comp in my opinion just shading hourigan and hughes.

Sniper are you saying there is dissention in the umpiring ranks? Perhaps that explains why they can be so frustrating!!!!!

It's about the HFL chucked some real money at an
Umpires coach, maybe hiring a ex SANFL umpire would be a good start.
The footy has got faster and the umpires have got slower.
Any rumours on the next HFL president ?

So RD where abouts is Harland and yourself (Liston) heading too? Big holes to fill.

I wonder how many clubs besides Onkas are going to use their marquee player contract! Will be interesting to see that's for sure.
There would a few of them at TV i reckon, could cause in house fighting.

How's pre season going for everyone? Any news on big signings as yet?

Harland I think heading to seating & Dave Liston going to south gambier.
Myself will be hanging around dear old Echunga town to watch the mighty Dee's play.
Every one's pretty quiet with recruits this year must be lots monies been shuffled around to fit them all in.

i have heard that Harland has gone to seaton ramblers also.
a big loss to not have the leagues leading goal kicker.
I am sure they will work hard to replace him though.

any other losses??any other gains??anyone started preseason yet???any prexmas predictions on the top 5???

Bloody hell, that's a surprise. Yeah as far as I know his only association with HFL is coaching us for a couple of years. Maybe the presidents of the clubs like the name Glen. If he's president & not CEO then I'm assuming it's a voluntary role, there were suggestions of having a paid CEO during the review but nothing came of it, again that I know of. The biggest surprise to me is Owen as VP, he obviously loves being involved. Does anyone know if there were any other nominees for those positions or other board members.
