Hopefully Hahndorf don't recruit anyone so we can all catch up to them & make it an awesome comp next year. Just need to fix the junior competitions in both divisions. Have heard some div 1 teams will be struggling to fill teams with the 2 year age gaps.

Echunga was the only club that actually forfeited a side (U16's) but I think everyone apart from Lofty & Blackwood had to use top ups from lower grades.
HFL age groups compulsory for div 1 are U14, U16 & U18

I heard Handles was looking to coach would he move across?

Heard a rumour the Lofty coach gone as well?

Echunga coach gone as well. Has been a merry go round there the last few years. Perhaps a hint of what the culture is like there?

Just saw Simon Quinn appointed as Echunga coach with brother Tom assistant

I don't think Hahndorf will need him. I'm told they have managed to retain their entire 2019 list with the exception of Hourigan.
There has clearly been some great recruiting in the league to make for a very interesting 2020. I do think Hahndorf will come back to the pack a little bit but my money will be on the pies to go three in a row in 2020

OTH I dont think Hahndorf will be drop back to the pack, but other teams are bolstering to come up to them which I think is terrific for the league. Bit early to call Hahndorf for 3 in a row (arguably they should have had 5 in a row but dropped a game against Blackwood in the Grand Final). 2020 will be very interesting.

Assuming that ex Edwardstown (circa 2001) coach, western border plus many other jobs, that is a huge appointment. A bloke that commands respect and wont take crap or play politics. He will have a few stories about Cameron Mansell too!

Heard a rumour Lobie chasing Matt Crocker 2x Sturt Premiership player. Wouldn't have thought they'd have points or cap space to cover?

They may be chasing him but would be surprised if it happens. 2021 perhaps

The Goolwa / Port Elliot FC are looking for trial matches on March 21st and 28th. Unfortunately due to cricket we can’t play on Goolwa Oval. Ideally looking for A’s, B’s, senior colts (under 17.5) and junior colts (under 14.5). Please contact Fraser Cooper on 0439854453 or Ryan Bridges on 0414379528

Thanks for for your help. Tried that last year and won by 35 goals so wasn’t a lot of value
