Good to see some close results with Echunga also winning by less than a kick. Most even the comp has been in a while, the way Div 1 should be! URI would be hoping Nairne and Blackwood stop winning as underdogs if you can call them that now. 3 teams equal 3rd!

Not sure if it’s true, he’s named to play tomorrow?

Only guessing but would say Echunga again. Think it'll be a Hahndorf v Lobethal GF so that rules out those 2 ovals. Balhannah would probably get the Prelim.

Would they Summit Oval?, The viewing at Echunga is limited with the curve of the oval

Echunga already had it 2 years in a row, so time for another location and share the influx of money a bid day like this generates.

Balhannah would be my pick, Onkas arent going to feature in the senior grades and the last time they hosted I think was back in 2015.

The summit possibly, but Mt Barker are a smokey to still make the big dance in either reserves or A grade so I would suggest that might rule them out, have the 2nd Semi final there for a Hahndorf v Lobey game.

Not sure the summit oval is up to it crowd wise. I've only driven in to drop the lad off but from what I've seen (live games), there is rarely any watching from the eastern side (opposite wing to grandstand)

Do they consider B Grade teams when picking GF venues? Thought it was only A Grade that they took into consideration.

Onkas forfeited the Senior Colts on the weekend due to lack of numbers

Is that Covid related or just generally struggling? Seems to be really hard to fill that Grade these days

Thankfully it was just the one game. Back to a full side on Saturday

Great game at Hahndorf today. Lobey pushed but Hahndorf had the answers. Hard to see snyone but these two play off in the Grand Final.

Interesting to see if theres vision of the behind play incident on the Hahndorf player in the last quarter. Dont see that too often nowadays.

At the game and had eyes on the “incident”. Hopgood went to lay a block on Lobethal player and simply met a bigger body, was nothing in it. Hopgood stayed on the ground and played it out. Bit of carry on from Hahndorf and their supporters

No I wouldn't have picked them for the GF either but they seem like a good well run club so should be a good day

You think they should go down? Or hearing that they want to?

Does that mean any Div 2 club can go up to Div 1 now? Obviously the need for a full compliment of juniors is now off the table.
