Nice chirpy post by by you there nolong. hadnt seen you post much here so had to look at your profile and found to my surprise that nearly 10% of what you post is under the topic "things that give me the sh1ts" ??? hadn't actually heard of that topic until 30 seconds ago.

I am a roos supporter so it was a great day and cant say there has been a day we don't enjoy have a ball, wine lose or draw but if country football is not your thing, so be it.

I would rather watch country footy any day but due to work cant get away like i would. Hoping to go and watch the GF this year, Mannum played better yesterday watched there ressies win also.

I was talking to a Nairne life member yesterday about whether or not they will nominate to go up to div 1 next if they win the flag and he had a bit of a joke and said "ha, if we had a choice, we would go back to the river Murray league in a heart beat". I know that idea is a bit of a stretch of the imagination, but would that be at all possible?

And what would you guys think if they tried to do that? Would be very interesting!

Rmfl would greatly benefit from having another club but i dont think it is likely to happen any time soon.

Also its not hard to see why they would want out of hills league as it has consistently been in terms of administration the biggest balls up and laughing stock in s.a country footy for quite a few years now. The echunga promotion relegation court case farce, poorly scheduled finals series a year or two ago plus many many more stuff ups which are well talked about in their forum.

Plus their netball and football are not always aligned in hills so its not surprising a decent country club like nairne wants to go to a well run league after being stuck under some absolute peanuts for so long! Good luck to them if they try though.

Picking imps today too over a struggling mannum. They have peaked at the right time but either way cant see any team getting near ramblers in the last dance this year.

From NBUFC point of view, the main problem when Nairne was in the RMFL was the travelling for the juniors. Over time Nairne juniors decayed, as parents decided it was easier to register the kids with HFL teams to avoid long Saturday drives. It took the club many years to get a complete set of strong junior teams back again on returning to the HFL. There was a few years there where U17s was down to a very tiny group of players, and it affected the flow through to seniors for quite a while.

Good day down there yesterday with great hospitality, Flaggies won all grades but all were pretty competitive.

Who did Imps play, looked like a bulldog type jumper? When I popped thru on way home Imps were 8 goals down.
