Southern Eagles v Crows = Eagles
Eagles won yesterday in our first Anzac Day game for the league.

Cougars v Moonta = Moonta
Moonta will be too strong all over the ground for the rebuilding Maitland outfit.
The ground at Maitland suits Moonta and will win easy. Moonta by 60pts

Paskeville v Bute =Paskeville
This game is under lights after Paskeville have upgraded their lights to new leds.
Paskeville will be far too good Bute = Paskeville bye 30pts

Wallaroo v Kadina = Wallaroo
Wallaroo we also be far too strong for a young and rebuilding Kadina side.
Cutto to kick 5. Wallaroo by 30pts

Good luck and I will be heading up to Pasky Saturday night to have a look at the game and how good these new 130k lights are.

Another huge blow for Wallaroo with their ruckman Jamar doing his knee Saturday. That’s the 2nd one this season with Riley Westlake doing his also.

CMS Crows v Cougars
CMS to get a percentage booster here against a struggling club.
Crows by 60 plus

Kadina v Paskeville
Big rivalry between these clubs. Kadina are in rebuild mode and Paskeville are in premiership mode.
Should be all Pasky but Plugger will have these young lads firing but can the sustain it for 4 quarters? I think not.
Paskeville by 30 pts

Moonta v Bute
Bute didn’t fire a shot last week and travel to the most feared ground on the peninsula. If Bute play like they did against Paskeville then Moonta could reach 30 goals.
Moonta by 100 pts

Wallaroo v Ardrossan
Wallaroo will struggle to get first look with their star ruckman out for the season after doing his knee last week. Ardrossan aren’t really setting the house a light either. Toss a coin job here
Wallaroo by 1 point

Good luck

Bute v CMS Crows
Bute have been hammered the last few weeks and will be looking for a response at home. Crows a going ok without setting the world on fire.
Both teams will have tractor legs as many lads would have been out seeding all week.
CMS Crows by 25pts

CY Cougars v Southern Eagles
Maitland put up a fight last week against the Crows and would be hoping for a repeat this week. Eagles are rested after the bye and look to be at full strength.
Eagles by 50pts

Paskeville v Wallaroo
Paskeville put a young Kadina side to the sword after halftime last Saturday to record a big win. Wallaroo done the job on a lacklustre Ardrossan outfit and would be heading to Paskeville with confidence. Cutting to continue his good form up forward but it won’t be enough.
Paskeville by 30pts

Moonta v Ardrossan
Moonta has the best home ground advantage of any team in the state but Ardrossan for whatever reason Ardrossan is their boogie side and won there last year.Moonta are flying at the moment and look to be at near full strength and Ardrossan haven’t showed the form they had last year yet.
Moonta by 40pts

Good luck

Brad Robertson said it’s time for a percentage boost against the Cougars and time for him to add at least 5 to his goal kicking tally.

Brad just needs to get into the hands of the “Mountain Mumford “ and he will do the rest. Put him down for 10.

The little rat Robertson had 35 and kept the big Mummy well fed at full forward. He texted me to say he’s keeping stats of score assists rather than goal assists now. It makes his stats look better as the mumdog is running at about 50% in front of the sticks.

Playing coach left and so did most of the good players. What they commonly call a mass exodus. Now they are struggling to fill a B grade each week.

Have been reliably informed that Tilbrook is looking at dropping big mummy to the twos. Apparently the big fella is just being too wasteful in front of goals. Kicked 5.6 on the weekend. You might think having 11 shots on goal is a good return but apparently Robertson laced him out so much Forrest Gump wouldn’t have trouble getting that many marks inside 50. Hancock likely to play next week.

Think he kicked that also against the Crows a few weeks back and 8.7 against Paskeville a few weeks before that. Can spray them.

Kadina v CMS Crows
Kadina as mentioned before are in complete rebuild mode and are giving a number of real young talent a crack at senior football, some of which look like they are about 15. Crows are a contender this year for sure but have some big name quality out this week but it won’t be enough for Kadina to get a win.
Crows by 40pts

CY Cougars v Paskeville
Top v bottom. Not much else I can say
Paskeville by 60pts

Ardrossan v Bute
Roos will be desperate for a win or they will lose touch with the 5. Bute should be fresh but lack quality and some polish, Ardrossan has both and are at home.
Ardrossan by 24pts

Sthn Eagles v Moonta
Match of the round for sure. Both have gun mids that can ran and carry and spot up forward targets. Both have massive forwards capable of kicking bags and both have solid back lines. The game is way way down at Warooka and the oval is massive and literally twice the size of Moonta’s half oval.
Eagles in a thriller because it’s at Warooka by 7pts

Good luck

The old home of Western United. Saw quite a few games there as a young boy.

Brad Robertson broke his wrist mucking around while on the piss last night. Likely surgery tomorrow. Hopefully Eagles can make the finals without him, he should be ok to go in 8 weeks.
