I've stated on here before that we're very lucky at Mawson Lakes to have Paul Kilkington as a club umpire. He is an ex player where injuries played a part in his early retirement. Being young, fit and in tune with the game, sets him up to be a first class umpire. Just wish we had more blokes like this that may have had to give the game away due to injury, take it up, as more often that not, they'll be good at it.
