A Mick Brien with the same spelling was on the board in the BLG, unsure if he still on the board this year. Nickname POP EYE had a pub in the main strret of gawler at one stage. I think he may have been the president of Willaston

I think Mick Brien was also involved with West Torrens cricket club, whilst Peter Brien is involved with the Port Adelaide cricket club.
