mitchell park v colonel light u/8's

well little bayman & 3 team mates went up to the u/10's as they were short in numbers & they also played at mitchell park but they played phos camden (both games at the same time), well both teams didn't sing the club song & the u/8's coach jokingly said "next time i wont send over my best players" & yes kookas it was said in jest
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

now bayman how did lb react to the defeat? did he cry, get angry or just enjoyed the game?

he just enjoyed the game, i asked him why HE WANTED to play u/10's (he is 7yo) & he said "because you can tackle" this is why the do gooders have no idea, if kids learn to tackle when they're young it helps on two counts, the first they learn how to tackle & it becomes 2nd nature to them & 2ndly if you wait until they are older & haven't they haven't tackled yet, then they get tackled & all of a sudden it hurts & you lose them from the game (in playing terms at least)

Well said! In NEMJFA tackling is introduced in Under 9's. In some leagues it's much older. It's a basic skill of the game and there's an art to tackling and being tackled.
