Was registered, but there was an error in the paperwork.

He played 2 of the 3 games. In 1 of the 3 games he was on the team sheet but didn't get on the field.

It will obviously take a huge effort for the Rams to get back on track, but everything will be fine in the end, just fine.

My understanding is they used Iscore to register a lad who had previously(2 years ago) played at Para Hills, they punched in his info but put his birthdate down incorrectly by mistake, the iscore system accepted the information and he became registered as a Gepps Cross player. Had the birthdate been input correctly, Iscore would have indicated he was currently registered at P/Hills. As nothing like that happened, he played the 3 games, Para Hills obviously got wind of it and advised the SAAFL. Gepps had their 3 wins and total points gained in the wins deducted.
An error that could be made by anyone, the lads are keen to make amends and the way they are going, they probably will!

yes, well done to the lads and it is a harsh way to loose games when your travelling along nicely.
i find it hard to work out why they took '3 games' off gepps & gave the wins to districts & broadview, why districts & Broadview cause they were the lucky teams that played them prior to this happening??? & also y do those two teams get such a massive % boost when the young man in question didnt play against them???
Districts went from Fourth with a % of 52 to second with a % of 62

What's the deal with having an equalisation rule at U18 level? Isn't it supposed to be senior football?

I do see the benefit of an equal game but the top side with 16 is still going to belt the bottom side with 16... I don't get it..

Pretty even playing field going into finals with the top 4 in U18 Yellow.

Should be a great game between Salisbury North and Salisbury West this week to finish the minor round. Great game by Smithfield again yesterday!

Yeah, especially since that kid gets off scott free by allegedly threatening the kid he headbutted into not going to the tribunal... real nice work.

Needless to say that if Gullies and Smithfield meet in a final, I won't make the mistake of leaving the camera at home again.

Salisbury West are more of a benchmark for mine than Salisbury North though.
