Can you ask your horse for a Melbourne Cup winner also, i heard that Mills is still deciding on what he is to do next year, nothing has been confirmed.

Well this bird did also say that he wanted a couple of weeks away to go and think about it too. That was the last I'd heard....

I'm sure if all these players leave he ( Mills ) will definately go. if they stay he'll definately stay.

Sounds like he's not interested in developing the young ones if a few experience ones leave, a bit to hard by the sounds of it.
I thought thats what coachings all about, you can't have it as easy as he has for another year!

Yes & what helped him immensly was the talent in the Goodwood side, Bartel, Webb, Demasi, Wilson etc......
Thats the quality of players every A1 side would love especially to help develop youngsters around the place.
I wonder whether he would of developed quicker without those quality players?
I doubt it!

I played under Demo in a few SAAFL Under 17s games a few years back, was a natural talent back then and was forging his way into the A Grade team as an Under 17. Doesn't surprise me to see him win a B&F, although having the high-profile group around would help him a lot, wouldn't get tagged or have much attention on him with Demasi, Bartel and the likes next to him.

FYI: look at sturt fc..if they beat glenelg this week they will have senior,reserves,u/19s and u/17s in the GF..no-one has done this since 1930's..when a league club is strong it tends to filter through into the amateur clubs in the area..league u/19's may all fold next year..where will the sturt boys go if they cant get a reserve game?????

Norwood in 97 had all 4 in the GF won the league and 19's but lost the ohter too in close games.
