Demonseye, you are more than likley correct, but if greenies sole purpose was fund raising, I would have thought that one of the 5 companies previously listed may have been given a shot at supplying the jumpers for a good cause, alas the worm can has been opened.

Me too and I reckon the apparel licences are self defeateing but if they're in place then they must be adhered to and if a club/s don't like it including Greenacres there's a correct forum to raise it and that's at the delegates meetings.

I Get so sick of rumors and crap like that, in an attempt to put an end to it all the jumpers were supplied through a licensed supplier and JAX Sport was a sponsor on the jumpers. Pull your head in ACE and get your facts right instead of just causing problems for people because you sell against these companies, no hidden agenda hey, what a load of crock.

Well done to Cougar Sports and JAX sport for getting behind a worthy cause.

That'll learn people to do a bit of homework before slinging crap in future.. 8)

Actually it probably won't.

Greenies have been raked over the coals for absolutely NO reason... I reckon there are a few apologies in order.

Posted earlier this week"
So are you saying Jax paid for the jumpers(their logo appears on them)but did not make them. They were made by another one of the licensed apparel suppliers?
Am I reading you correctly?

My earlier post which obviously went unnoticed or otherwise.

I think if you read my posts properly you will find no reference to Greenies or Jax Sports in a "bad light" whatsoever. Maybe you should go back through them, my query was whether or not it was sanctioned by the SAAFL or done outside of their guidelines. If it were, which it obviously wasn't, my query would still stand. How would they handle it?
I did also, in one post(above) ask the question, were they made by a licensed supplier and paid for by Jax? No response was forthcoming, only tooing and frowing about agendas etc.
My original post offered congratulations to Greenies on their foresight, I offer the same to Jax and Cougar also for their contribution to a great cause.
As for causing problems because of an agenda, not sure what you're on about there and I have nothing to apologise for so Mr Griffen, bad luck!

For those of you who may think that it was I who brought this to the attention of the SAAFL, you could not be any further from the truth!

Great work from the boys at Greenies for doing this. My only issue with this is that my footy club didnt come up with it first. Well done and I hope you rake in the cash.
