You have too much to say
Think you know everything about every other club
Most think you are a joke
And you rant and ravings on here are prooving them correct

Oh...........and by the way...............Kilburn will not have a 4 Star Restaurant in 2010..or 2011..or ever !!!!!!

Just to clarify - it was "Oh...........and by the way...............Kilburn will not have a 4 Star Restaurant in 2010..or 2011..or ever !!!!!!" comment that I agreed with

Cant wait for the conversation................

Jimmy: " Darling....how about a candlelit dinner at a beautiful new restaurant tonight"
Mrs Jimmy: "Love to darling....I've just bought a beautiful new dress.......where?
Jimmy: 4 star restaurant at Kilburn
Mrs Jimmy:  Who's playing?
Jimmy: No, darling its a beautiful new restaurant with silver service at the footy club, and its close to College Park
Mrs Jimmy: er sorry darling......headache and it may be close to College Park but it is really miles away..........
dedja: Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

No not really but takes away the fun and gets people like our colleague "forward" ultra mobile with his own form of cryptic comments and veiled but dumb statements.
You would have to make more DUMB statements than any one else on this entire board
By the way are you happy with your year ?????????????
Just wondering,!!!!!
Another year not making a GF and spending around 120k of the communities money

Delighted and we weren't relegated! What about your club? Oops, you don't coach anymore! Well not at that club anyway.
Not even close, but........we get ours from the TAB and the pokies and our 700 + members & our 16 teams of juniors and the community who choose to use our facilities. As I said before, it's not compulsory which, with your limited knowledge, you seem to have trouble understanding.
It's your move next, or is that Check-mate?

Sorry forward but I would say that most would think Aceman posts are interesting and would not even categorise them as rant and ravings.

And yes he most probably does know a lot about other clubs, do I detect some envy there?

Anyhow please continue with your rants and ravings as some of us enjoy the entertainment. :D

you sound like a very bitter person Forward, yes Ace does make a lot of statements, some dumb, but most get us thinking.
and seeing as you know so much about Ace's club ,can you give us a rundown on how they spent the "120k" [ players, coaches, support staff, medical gear, affil.fees, etc ].
and as i see it a community [members ] puts into a club what monies it can afford and leaves it to the committies of that club [who the members elect ] to spend that money in the best way for that club. and looking at the facilities at Ace's club , most people would think that they are doing something right.

TT, you can't believe everything they print in the Messenger, our mates from Lionel Avenue will tell you that!
Incidentally, as a bit of trivia, in the first 2 years of my marriage, I lived at 12 Lionel Avenue Blair Athol, now just imagine if I'd chosen to join the Chics, maybe these blokes wouldn't be so harsh on me!

We love you Aceman, and you are more than welcome anytime down our club for a beer.
Yes the Messenger did have an article about Kilburn and the pokies demise !
I will however clarify that the space that did house the pokies, will now have 4 tables and a few chairs and we may even put a candle on each table and maybe just maybe, a flower arrangment. So if you class that as a 4 star restaurant, serving Snitzel and chips with voulanteer staff, then so be it !. No staff from Regency Tafe will be present also !

Thanks chics for your vote of confidence, I was starting to get a complex courtesy of 'forwards' posts.
I always felt I would be welcome at your place as your guys also are welcome at Gepps, my information was pretty solid and as TT said it was a story written up in the local rag.
If it's to be as you've stated, fair enough, I hope it works for your club, but a candle on the table is a must, it adds to the ambience. ;)
Maybe we can say it's a 4 Table restaurant, with candle....................maybe even cutlery too!!!
Good luck with it. BTW, You'd better keep Grumpy(forward) away from the place, he'll frighten the clients away
