Has been a quick (the few weeks have flown by) Pre Christmas Pre season down at the Webb.

Numbers have been fairly good with around 20-25 or so on average at training, which is not too bad for only two grades. Some new faces and friends of new coach Chad Bourke that seem to be blending in well. It is looking quite "probable" that around 5-6 of these of these guys are on board adding some much needed skill, height and KP's filled. The boys seem to be enjoying Bourke's coaching approach but I am sure he aims to flog them a bit harder come January :)

A little more cream required in the new year still though and it should be a successful year. Hopefully we will see some old faces return post Chrissy too!!!

Good to hear Glenunga are travelling alright after a lean year last season....Bourkey is certainly gonna be handful in this div, certainly going to give opposition coaches a headache 8) I look forward to tackling you lads next year.

Mawson Lakes have had a very productive off season so far, training prior to xmas has been very successful and a few new sponsors onboard already....we also have 10,000 flyers waiting to be distributed in the new year to surrounding suburbs.

Time for a break now however and get ready to do it all again January 19th when we resume!

Bah, Bourkey is overrated, I tip he'll struggle without Nelson feeding him :P. The Smith boys on the other hand will be quite damaging, even from our wheelchairs! Heh, pre season has been fun so far, even though I struggle to move the next day! Bring on Round 1 and skip this hard work I say!!

I think that this is the first preseason that I have enjoyed and actually attended since about 2001. Has been alot of fun and look forward to getting back into it in January and off course the real stuff in round one.

Hopefully everyone has had a good christmas and will have a safe New Years and I look forward to seeing the new teams that come into this div next year. Should be some really good quality teams next year especially if Modbury come in and also Glenunga with Bourke and the new recruits.

When do we find out who will be in this div?

Once again hope everyone has a safe New Years

Did here Angle vale had about 30 on the track which would be good if they were all seniors players but half of them were under 16s.
So looks as if it will be long year ahead for the Owls and their new coach in 2010.

Yeah if they dont get a flag in Div 7 after 4 years as coach in D7 and the coke is flat he needs to go.
The clubs is in much in much better shape than it was thanks to a few outsiders joining the club in the last few years.
Arty Queenie Dean & Partner to name a few and it all started with Boxy pushing things while he was at the club.
Now Queenies is top Crab the club will go to a new level and become even better.

When are the potential teams in this grade looking at getting back into pre season?
How are teams looking with their recruiting this year?

The crabs will be getting back on monday, with a much shorter pre season then last year. it will be interesting to see the turn out after all the admin crap that has been taking place.

Will be interesting to see how many new faces are around aswell, after some people external to the club have predicted a big season.

How is everyone else looking?

Would be a bit of a loss for the Crabs if this is true
