It begs an interesting question actually...CBCOC only pay 2 or 3 blokes and it's only about $100/game, so are you better to pay X amount of money on a big name coach and hope he can recruit just on who he is, or do you spend that money trying to recruit 4 or 5 good players to the club???
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

Margitich must have done a 'back flip' if he's playing for that money nowadays unless he's copping something under the table!

You'd think the blokes who couldn't make it at North, under Jars, wouldn't head to Div 4 for $0 just to play under him.
But should generate excitement at club- past players to return, sponsorship etc..

That's it in a nutshell. He'll probably make back the money they have paid him.

CBCOC has a history of people staying loyal to the cause for no financial benefit in order to play with their mates.
Don't underestimate the power of Darren jarman to bring on new talent for no money.
It is huge news and has brought a lot of excitement to the club.

Nice reply Dolphin. It's obvious that he doesn't have such a huge ego that coaching a lower Div side is 'below him' so all credit to CBCOC for snapping him up
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

I agree, i have met him a couple of times and he definately isnt motivated by ego. Very down-to-earth bloke.

Im as jealous as hell of CBCOC, Fud is/was my childhood hero and all time fav player. His drawing power will be immense.

Great work Dolphins !!!
