Italian team of the year

Postby Footy Chick » Wed Nov 25, 2009 9:33 pm

Ok, it's off season and I'm bored, in fact, I think we all are

Was having a chat not long ago with a mate about the AFL Italian team of the Century, so thought I'd do a bit of a SAAFL take on it.

Your nominations must have played SAAFL in 2009 and can be from any division - you must state your case when nominating them though.

I'll start off with Matty Brunoli - Div 1 medalist, pure class- need I say more?

Gino Patruno from Seaton. Returned from the Gold coast with about half a dozen games left in season and dominated

He's so Italian that he used to dive over looking for a penalty whilst watching the football....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Firstly, not paid that much at all! your dreaming if you think that IF.

Secondly NM, if he is "PAYED" way too much as u like to say, i think his BOG in the GF should speak for himself...

There's a Capurso who was at Heccies, is he still playing? He'd be nearly as old as me I reckon.
That's a good Italian name.

Cant see too many other Div 1 players getting BOGs against an unstoppable Goody saints side over the last 5 years
