Kilburn , Just making up the numbers

Postby Hafey » Mon May 14, 2007 8:59 am

It seems the season end cant come quick enough for Kilburn in Div 2 , a 200 point spanking at the hands of Seaton on Saturday outlines the turmoil this club is in and begs the question will they even be competitive in Div 3 next year .......
What i dont know about football isnt worth knowing .

Watching the game kilburn were a rabble. No system very under manned playing players that would struggle getting a kick in div 4. There tactics were borderline thuggery hitting blokes behind the play, in the back of the head was very ordinary. Seaton were awesome patruno up forward was unstoppable. Kicking 10.0 was a fantastic effort.

So what your saying is that they are going to buy their way out of trouble.

Teams arent in D1 D2 or D3 unless at some point they have bought a promotion. Teams who dont have the $$$ or won't pay players will eventually struggle because as everyone knows... MONEY TALKS.

D Train has moved on to greener pastures out to the Barossa Districts, with the main man Steve O'"Connor.
Doing ok i think, has kicked about 3-4 goals every week and is in the best players consistantly.
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

I see Barossa Districts collected another football lesson on the weekend , this time from Willaston who are a young team in a rebuilding phase i am told .

Funny how when the money run's out misfits like Barossa Districts slide back down the bottom of the ladder where they belong ...... they do hold one record though , the most wooden spoons in BL&G history hahaha .
