I put it to you then, that you have had the wool pulled over your eyes. I know for a fact that certain players are getting paid for every game, which inturn can cause an issue in the team when apparently everyone is on the same pay rate. Might have even been a reason for the coach getting the shove off last year, asking too many questions.

not the case at all. i have been involved with the club for a long long time and disagree with the highlighted points but agree when payments are made known of can cause trouble amongst the group. Reason for coach not being re appointed is the fact that he wasnt the right man for the job. a great bloke great player but not a coach able to coach at Div 2 level. players would have also walked if he was reapointed

Matt Jolly at the centre of controversy again? Funny how such an innocent bloke has so many punches thrown at him..

Still, doesn't take away from the fact that the bloke can play..

what are you trying to say FC Matt is a nice bloke and maybe punches are being thrown at him is the fact that he can play

Read my post , I said Yes, Matt can play, but he's a bigger sledger than Punter. That doesn't mean he's not a nice bloke though.. If you honestly believe that Matt gets in so many punch-ups simply becuase he's so good you are delusional..

There are lots of blokes that can play and they don't constantly get in punch ups because of their abilities.


Blues08 seems to be very defensive of Matt Jolly .. why's that?

Jolly is and has been a great leader for the Modbury football club. He asks for nothing and coaches junior sides. Someone of his ability could be at a club being paid and just chasing money.

Loves a yap but doesnt deserve punches being thrown at him just for a bit of banter. person throwing the punch was a less talented has been who has been mentioned since my first post re this issue. Lets just say this player isnt good enough to make Modbury's best 22.
