The all white one with the big magpie. Along with white shorts and hooped socks...looked pretty ordinary...wouldve been better to have the normal guernsey with white where the black is on the home strip and vice versa. Sort of inverted colours.

I remember playing As in Rd 1 against Salisbury West in 2005 and it was the first game in the away strip. I was bleeding from somewhere and without thinking just wiped the blood down the front of the brand new guernsey. Looked up to see the whole bench just staring at me...then got called a dickhead my numerous people. Not my fault i was used to having plenty of black to wipe blood on.

yeah they still wear the away guernsey.
I think the C's wear it when A's at home and A's where it when they away!!
I didnt think it was that bad a guernsey!
would look better with black shorts though!!

I didnt mind it being all white...just dont think geurnseys with cartoony looking animals on them look any good.

well considering marc cox has played at every club in SAAFL, or at the least 1 club in every division, we should get his opinion on the best and worst guernseys. Marc which one were u least proud to wear cos it made u look even more humiliating??

Ooh Aah, what a great idea.

He will no doubt not pick Port Districts 'cause that's his new favourite club via Encounter Bay, Para Hills & Kersbrook and thats before the end of January

I think it was actually to symbolise the Lebanese flag
A Fir Tree

It needs a couple of bullet holes, hand grenade splinters and missle burns on it

Im not gonna get involved in an ethnic dispute but even still they did look like candy canes out on the field. Just trying to pick a worse one then the Pines jumper.

I know its a huge bump for the thread , but what an extremely unitelligent and disrespectful thing to say.

It is a great thing that members of the Australian Lebanese community are getting Australians with a Lebanese background involved in Australian culture and what better way to do so than Football. It has been happening through the Adelaide Cedars Football Club since the 1940's.
During the seasons of 01-04 the club played finals in all but one of those years and made the Grand Final twice, for one premiership. Clutching at straws, but also a flag in the 1940's not too bad hey? More than some people can say about their Amatuer League clubs in such a short period of time.

Anyway, here is the guernsey that has been mentioned, these colours will always be the colours of the club. I have no problem with people disliking the guernsey, it's just their opinion.

I used to think the Sturt jumper was a beauty but looking at the photo in todays Advertiser, it has become a mobile billboard with 4 sponsors and the manufacturers logo all over the front of it. I presume the back has a logo above the number and one below so a total of 6 on a metre of fabric.
I'd say that's a bit of 'overkill'! I know sponsors are vital to clubs but surely a jumper is not the only way they can get their message out there?
Look at the AFL, 1 sponsor only on the back and that's it!

Paralowie have a new away/clash Guernsey this season. White jumper with the outline of a kangaroo in blue. Bit like north melbournes clash jumper a few seasons ago. After wearing the SAAFL purple Guernseys a few times last season, including a final we have designed our own.

Yeah m8 agree, we had to wear the saafl jumpers last week against the valleys not a good sight. Rosies jumpers would have to be up there with the best lookin jumpers in saafl and perhaps we could look at designing an away jumper like the we stern bulldogs????

i was not a fan of Fitzroy's blue strip with a lion/unicorn on it.
Our club switched back to the legendary FFC strip & won a flag instantly.
Nice, simple & bright.
Vive la Fitzroy!

That same jumper didn't cause the Brisbane Lions any grief although the blue was a bit darker.
