Why shocked Jimmy? I would say it is a fair assesment. I dont think he was talking about the lower A grades but moreso the lower C grade comps. There are still some handy players getting around in the Div 8 and the C grade comps. There are some really poor sides but there are a few C grade sides that I have come up against in the last few years that would be more than competitive against some clubs A grades (flinders park last season for one).

Sorry - I thought he was talking about me :(

Apparently no reports. Can only be a good thing not to have lunatics running around king hitting people, kicking people or other acts like that.
Don't want to take the niggle, a bit of agro and aggression from the game, but need the really dirty thugs out of the game. Not over sanitised as some might read into it, as that would destroy the fabric of the game, but just the thugs, who do the really stupid stuff.

King Hit, Kick or belt an Umpire and should be given 12 and rubbed out completely IMO as they are not wanted in any football. Should be a little more lenient on the little bits that make the game what it is though, IMO.

Bloke at work heard about an incident on the radio this morning. It relates to a behind play hit in the C grade game between Gepps X and our C grade. I hadn't heard anything further from the initial Saturday. Can anyone confirm the bloke hs been banned for life as the radio reported?

Remember the same guy on TV involved in an ugly incident involving a machette at a junior game some years back, obviously hasn't grown up or changed too much. :axe:

Nothing like what happened before, and not the same guy either.
He's been sent packing and if he ever applies for a clearance to another club, this incident and the outcome information will be forwarded to that club.

Didn't say he was the machette bandit, but maybe the provocer who got chased with a machette....Also seen him trip a C grade club umpire over a few years back whilst playing for IF, very lucky the umpire let it go , maybe if he didn't we would not be here today.

Sounds like a top bloke.

Surely if hes done all these things, someone from the SAAFL should at least look into officially banning him from playing.
