I dont think its top 10 at all. It seems most clubs hav invitees and if u got more than two they must hav polled equal votes

This is why theres been no press release of the top 10

And also why the executives hav kept very quiet. Its a marketing ploy to draw a bigger crowd

10 clubs * 2 invitees = 20 players in top 10

Ha busted

I was under the belief invitees were not neccessarily in the top 10, but were top vote getters for their respective clubs? Therefore it's possible a player may only receive 3 votes and get an invite, but finish at the bottom of the leaderboard.

The email to the club from the league makes no mention of a top 10

It seems they hav simply invited the 2 highest poll getters from each team

The top 10 theory was probably created via chinese whispers on this forum as the league has let us all roll with it

Flinders uni might hav 4 invitees all with 1 vote bahahaha

I have not seen the email sent but according to the person who has seen it there is no mention of what grade each player is invited for. Normally you would not think this is hard to work out but all players (5) invited have played A grade footy this season.

We were given 3 names mate which was Pearce Pressler and Whelan, with our best hope being Pearce IMO. Big ruck that takes big marks. Still astonished that molyneux wasn't in our top 3...

Pressler has been sucking umpires dicks for the last 3 years. Isn't that right TIGA.? Matty gets the carry over effect because the umps know who he is. That's the only reason Charles isn't up there cause the umps don't know him. No offence intended to the boys that did get invited though as I'm sure they deserved their votes(except for Pressler). I'm also stunned McCallum didn't get invited. I can think of numerous games where he was best on.

The top 10 theory actually comes from the last delegates meeting as that was what was discussed. There was talk of changing the format and it was agreed that the room is a bit to small for the event but we were to far down the track to change it. The top 10 was discussed to try and keep a bit more room.
I've also never really known why we should invite people who may poll 3 votes but happen to be top 3 for their club if everyone knew they were actually in the top 10 they might be more inclined to actually go.

Only 3 years TBS...! yeh agree on mccallum but at the same time brackstone won some games off of his own boot. Guess we just have a real equal side which is good.

I was left standing at the altar tonight :(
I even put my best suit on

I noted A Graham got 2 votes in a match - there was an noticeable groan from the crowd.
But they were only Kilburn people - everyone else was asking who he was
dedja: Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Could barely make B Grade at Broadies. Shows you how easy it is to get an A grade game at Kilburn you included Shrek
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.
