thats a great point you make, because im sure that the coach of every club is the only one that does any recruiting, if his team manager, assistant coach, or anyone else he was using for scouting gave him a name he wouldnt follow it up as he hadnt watched himself??? nice assumption piccachu.

Adelaide Lutheran coach for 2009 is Ashley Place

Has background with Walkerville and Port Adelaide

How can I be subtle here....

Can somebody confirm that there is more than one Ashley Place?

Disappointing Wayne Gehling is no longer there....a fantastic coach for that club

I know of 2 Bobs ( Moran ) having 2 Places but surely theres not enough room on this planet for another Ashley ( Place ).
Man i know this bloke thinks he should be playing A1 football but to think he could coach any grade of footy is an outright joke in its self.
I know he wouldn't be any great loss to Henley but as far as a usefull gain for Adelaide Lutheran, FAR FROM IT!

Have just heard IT IS THE GREAT ASHLEY PLACE - the nutter one. The ex Henley, ex Seaton,
scrubber who is the Adelaide Lutheran Coach. This guy cant get his own life in order let alone
look after 50 blokes. The big "I" in the word team - his favourite quote, whats happening with that.
Will have at least 8 ex Coaches at his first game. Can only imagine Mr Hodges being anywhere
near earshot of lard arse giving one of his speaches. Hodges will be unmerciful after PLACES antics
over the many years

I also heard today that it was one and the same.., but it might pay for someone to do some homework before we start making false assumptions...

OB.....Correct????

Correct..

I forgot to ask him if I could make it public.. but it was guessed anyway

Good luck to him... he gonna need it.

Although he has got some EXTREMELY talented 18's to work with...

Good luck to OB as he will be good for that club as FC is right about the 18's in being extremely talented & they will not finish in the bottom 2 with him at the helm & he will enjoy coaching against a few of his old clubs!
