that awnsers my questions... haha

can you play at 1215 or 215? it suits us better...

Looks like you got your wish...

2.15pm at St Marys for a city team and a North Eastern team

Should be fun. Forecast at this stage is for 19mm of rain!!

South Parklands would probably be used for car parking for the show on saturday (as it was pointed out to me)

They don't park on the oval, Lutheran did not want to pay $500. Wonder what there players think of that?

Despite that, would you like to try and find parking around that ground on Saturday? it'll be a madhouse!

Of course it would, but Lutheran didn't move it make it easy for us to find a car park. What would have happened if there a/b where due for home final.

They were never going to get their money back on a single C grade final anyway so who blames them?

I don't see the issue - except for now we're playing in Melbourne or close to it because half our our team is working in the morning.

They would go close to making $500 on canteen, bbq, bar & raffle, maybe there "c" grade did not want the home ground advantage?

They would rather play on a big oval then play at home.

FWIW
My thoughts of these two sides when we played them was that Lutheran were the best team in our comp
Does depend on what runs out each week as C Grade sides change a lot from week to week

I know The Valley's have some quality blokes like Troy Rhodes running around for them but it will be interesting to see how many blokes Lutheran can drop down from the B Grade side that played on the weekend now that they are out

I think it will be tight in a very low scoring game - but if Lutheran start to get space and are able to run on the big oval they will get up - if The Valley's can keep it to a lot of contested footy, certainly their strength against us then I see them getting up

Just in case, I suggest that the a person from each club knows what to do if it is a draw at the end of full time 8)

How do you qualify for a permit, I thought in this day and age you either qualified or you don't.

That has nothing to do with it - Below is the rule

34.3 If a Member Club’s higher Division team is no longer playing in the major round:
(a) A player may return to the lower Division for the remainder of any major round matches
provided such player played the majority of his minor round matches for the season in
the lower Division.
(b) A player who has not participated in any of his Member Club’s major round matches,
must have played a minimum of one game in the lower Division during the minor round
to play in any of the Member Club’s lower Division finals matches subject to the player’s
eligibility.
