I was given the same info regarding carr as MB has posted. Do you have some information you care to share?

After a very solid team performance against salisbury, in which he did not participate, i heard he was told that he would start the season in the b's so that too many feather were not ruffled regarding selection. Essentially we didnt want to drop players who didnt deserve it.

I am also under the impression that any potential $$$ that were involved with the deal may have been taken away.

Best of luck to him as he seemed a good bloke and a gifted player. Im sure someone will benefit from his services more than we would have this season.

He didn't play the trial agaisn't sailsbury, and I think didn't train the following week for what ever reason, and was told he would be starting in the magoo's, and that didn't go down too well with him, so he decided to leave.

Plympton (Convincingly)
Rosewater (Afterburners from the start this week?)
Elizabeth (Not convinced, but a proven div 5 track record in recent years)
Kenilworth (Just [-o< )
Golden Grove (150 +)

Yeah we got a touch up again. But not all bad, once again competative for the majority of the game but if you stop dead for 15-20 minutes teams are going to jump on you..... But we do have players to return over the next few weeks so lets hope results will come.

Went to Greenies for the 2nd half and far too good for Rosewater, 9 goal winners. Danny Ryan kicked 5.2 or thereabouts.

So much for grand final preview. Bring on GOlden Grove, that will be more indictive I think.

Did Danny play in the As? Thats four kicks last week and 7 this week without doing his driver! DR is a dead set legend of the Amateur League.

HAHAHA!! Will take the compliment but dont think we are quite ready to knock off Greenacres yet. We are still trying to settle our side through injuries and other things. We havnt had our best 21 on the park yet. Dont take that as a pump up of tyres or an excuse if things fall ill. Do the best with what we have got.

Must consider although we are winning we are not playing at all well. Id be confident in saying that the 1st 1/4 yesterday was the worst we have seen since Mitch has been at the club. Training has been poor standard the last few weeks and we just seem to be going through the motions. 29.29 (or whatever is was) is poor finishing. Hoklas played his first one yesterday after a stellar year last year in the FWD pocket and kicked 1.7. Just one example. Some guys reading too much into a trial win against salisbury??? Taking it a bit for granted?? Maybe??? Lots of work needs to be undertaken to sure up the points against elizabeth.

A few out this week. Tuckwell with a knee (not serious) and Sparnon is getting his wisdom teeth pulled. Still, we have should three wiser heads come straight back in. The big names there being Brown and Charlton. Interestingly Norwood have the bye the week of the GG V Greenacres game. Should give us a few extras to slot in ;-)

Reckon i know the bloke who would have dropped it aswell, lives over the road, probaly pissed going home, does a mountain off work for our club, would be quite upset about that when he finds out.Its terrible for the players of Ingle Farm that they know they are just another sporting department that have a facility to use week in week out and thats it,just as long as the doors are open day after day thats the way the club is run, hence good footballers go elsewhere and we get stuck with the same old men who are on their last legs that cant put as much in as they used too, believe me every bloke that pulls on our jumper busts his arse on gameday. Our club is a great place to be but it has no real vision that is being made public, boring and stuck in a rut, prediction, much more pain to come for many years as far as footy goes.

Thats a shame
I really thought the club as a whole would improve with the recent reno's.
gives everyone a new lease on life and u would think it would create a bit of excitement
Not the case apparently?
Is Gillett playing?

Definitely thought Brown was GG's most important and influential player last season. Shepherd would have been half the player he was if Brown wasn't playing. Brown was the Scott West of DIV 6 last year. If you can stop him ur halfway to beating GG.

It is exciting to be around great social people, renos are great but the renos are paid for by the members and patrons thats where the gold goes and comes from, there are no sponsors throwing money hand over fist and thats got to be the responsibility of the people in charge if we want to go down that path, looks like we dont because we cant make anybody accountable for that because its run by volounteers end of story, suggestions have been put forward but individuals dont want to know about it,like i said stuck in the mud so to speak, what can you do.
