No - But he went to school at Kings - Phil Carmen around the same time as well

He was at Glenunga when he won the Hone Medal - Kings weren't in A1

Peter Adcock was winning the A3 medals for Kings

Would be interested to know how PAC's talks with Jason Bayliss went, he started his footy career with the Dolphins and vowed to return one day, however he is no spring chicken. Seems that he is keen to squeeze whatever money he can out of Footy over the next few years. Heard it was in the vicinity of $500-$600 a game. That is crazy if it is true.

I also know that PAOC were chasing Jason Baylis and his going rate is about $300-$400, so they obviously are spending some money...

The Byrners both went to PAC and played in the 2004 A3 premiership. Jarrod was Norm Smith in the eyes of many, but it was given to someone else - they then went back home to play - Waikerie I think.

I dont know Bayliss but he would have to be pretty good to get $500 per game anywhere in D4 and very thirsty to get paid that by us - thats 11-12 slabs of Green Label a week

pretty sure that the only speaking to bayliss that PAC have done is through the B-grade coach (moller) as they know each other pretty well.(through mollers bro who plays at jervios) and PAC for a fact will not be paying him cash if he does happen to come but i cant see it happening without the money, although from speaking to a bloke i know from the RMFL he still goes alright and would be worth the 2-300 a game. and as said in an earlier post a "big" ruckman would be handy to ease the presure on Dalwood.
(just a fun fact: that would mean if PAC get bayliss they would have the last 2 ruckman in the RMFL team of the year)

and on the byrnes, it was the worst kept secret around the club last year that they got a 1 off payment from an outside sorce to come back to the club, and im lead to believe that wont be happening again, PAC just hope they stay to finish the job that should have been done last year.

on the Mods thing ive heard rumors and lies but nothing solid, and Roo is coming as part of the deal with the Alma so he isnt being paid either.

hope that clears any and all issues PAC related obviously im no board member but from talking to people in the know round the club this is where things stand.

Very cleverly worded teaboy. Won't be paid cash, he would be offered something else substantial as remuneration.

Roo is not being paid. He just gets a shitload of free advertisments and 50 rich college boys back to his pub every Saturday night.

Baylis can play - i havent seen him in person, but i know plenty of blokes who reckon he goes alright. He would be very, very good in D4.

He is a regular around this forum too...

At least the girls will be safe at the Alma next year........
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
