How the hell do you let a team kick 26 goals and boot 16 yourself???

If you have a look at some previous scores in the last three of ours you will notice that we have let the opposition kick 20+ goals but still gone on to win the game. Being the small oval that Glenunga is and our attacking style of footy allows for some interesting and high scoring affairs

Yep, unfortunately we've been on the receiving end of one of those :(

Was very surprised to see such a high scoring game though considering the wind!

Okay, I haven't been out to Glenunga before. Size of the oval might make some sense with that scoreline.

Two or three clean kicks starting from full back to get to a leading full forward I reckon.

Not having a crack at Elizabeth, but their last two 4th Qtrs havent been great. We kicked 7 or 8 in the 4th last week (too late though) and Glenunga kicked 10.

Is it something you guys are talking about Dogwatcher?

I'm sure they'd be talking about, it. However, as I don't get down there as often as I should, I wouldn't know.

Reminds me of when I played at Moorook. 40 metre arc. A good tap on the run could see you having a shot from the centre square.

Seeing Kenilworth on the weekend in what I thought was pretty good game of footy, they seem to get a lot of drive from through half back particularly No.25 seems to get on his own a lot. Also thought No.20 is a good player around the stoppages and its got me beat how no.1 continually gets a game for them.

Don't think their Bgrade will go top unless they had a few outs on Saturday?

Sorry, I'm not sure if I'm following correctly... even if they had players out, I wouldn't think theyre even close to going top!

Round 1 they beat us by 25plus goals this time around only by 3, we have improved but that's still a lot of difference. Elizabeth are the ones that has impressed me the most in the Bgrade but will wait until I haven't seen them twice too just like with Havens.

Seriously though, they would have to be faves. Coming down a div. They were a very good D4R side and going on the results and the fact they beat a very good Nth Haven outfit...

The Bs comp is being dominated by Elizabeth and North Haven, and it couldnt be closer with it being 1 all between us.

The other contenders I reckon would probably be Woody South.

Woody South were the best team I played against in the Bs this year, but I didnt play Elizabeth the second time around.

Have no idea how it'll play out under finals pressure though.

A's had 6 players out so of course Kenilworth had some players that came up from the C's. What is wrong with No. 1 hawkseye??

How are Lutheran's B's going this year? Didn't they win the flag last year?

Yeah they beat us in the Grandy last year. They've dropped off a fair bit I reckon. We've only played them once this year and beat them by 8 goals. They are sitting 4th on the ladder but their losses are against the teams sitting 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th. All of the teams they'll face if they make the finals.

Didn't see the news last night but was told from a non football person that channel 9 aired a segment regarding a div 5 club. Is this true?
