You would be happy to only play 12 games for the year?

I wouldn't be "happy".

... but I would prefer it if it meant the competition wasn't entirely laughable - either because North Pines absolutely dominated it or because our A's had a reasonably balanced fixture.

It would be a pretty ad hoc arrangement, thus no specifics yet.

I get the feeling now, that it probably won't be needed.

At first I was of the opinion that there is no way that an A grade side should be playing against us ressies players.

However, I would be really suprised if North Pines were anywhere near as good as say the Henley D grade side of the last few seasons and we never whinged about them.

Don't get bitter, get better. Looking forward to the challenge.

Angle Vale are the ones being very quiet atm. The side that beat us late in the year was pretty good. If they're adding quality to that, top 2 or 3 beckons IMO.

A few outs to go with their ins though.

They posted on facebook that a few who played in their grand final in 2013, but didn't play last year, have decided to play again.

I'd love to but I have no idea who's actually playing, I'm assuming Horton, Angle Vale & the Bumblebee's will all go through undefeated.
