Must of come home with a rush because they were 6 goals down half way through the last.

sure did kicked about 6-7 in the last 10 mins big paul smith couldn't be stopped

wasn't a bad game, quite quick and flowing - i'm sure both sides had a few out though.
i'm sure uni's b grade won reasonably easily.

haha unis way by a goal again i think or around that margin

The sad reality of the Amateur League is that you have to play against feral teams occasionally. You mustn't be scared off them as that is the only trick they have. We have to deal with ferals like Eastern Park, the Kilburn Killers and the Seaton Sodomites this year and we will be dour and firm with them.

Funny how in 15 years of footy the only time I have seen the need for staff to remove used needles from an oval was at a college. Yours. :weedman:

Thats ok, I have a feeling we won't be subjected to anymore of "3 Kings" insightful posting anytime soon ;)

So judging by pre season form who is in the hot seat for finals this year. also what players sound as though they will poll well in the medal count at end of year. any guns that would already be in top ten presuming injury free.

If Eastern Park win their fair share of games, Craig Taylor and Adrian Wilson will be in the mix for the medal. Would like to hear other sides medal chances...

Sides pushing for finals will be Uni, Broadies, Athelstone, Payneham, Phos and Eastern Park. Flinders and Seaton will be competetive, Kilburn and Pembroke to struggle somewhat. There it is people, the Hounds prediction for '09....your thoughts?

Seems pretty close, is there any reason why Seaton would not play in finals, coming from div one surely they would be a chance.
Also played some footy with a few boys at hope valley and birdwood, some guys are playing at payneham now. Lowe, Rowett, Novi Palmer and Justin Palmer. How are they travelling, any news on form.

Novi Palmer- the SAAFL's most expensive reserves player is how I've heard him described.. I only saw him play a couple of times so I couldn't say whether that's a completely accurate description.

Rowett has done really well from my reports, can't comment on the others.

thanks fc, good to hear rowter has done well. guess time will tell for the others. haha novi expensive, i presume thats due to the tribunal to get a clearance that happened between birwood and payneham. think it cost them 400 bucks each just to clear a bloke. crazy.

Nah, It was because he was on the payroll and ended up playing B's most of the season for one reason or another.

Red dog is still playing, I had heard the same thing but bumped into him just before christmas and said he was going on.

Tyson is playing as far as I know, I'd dare say this might be his last year or two though, not because he's not up to it, (far from it) but more due to work and family reasons.

Ok then stop talking and give your prediction.....it's easy to sit their and judge other peoples opinions when you dont give your own. That is my honest belief. Hey if Kilburn prove me wrong then great for them but I simply dont think they will. Pretty tough ask preparing for div 2 in two months... am I wrong?

Kilburn will get relegated. The Boozehound has spoken. ;)
