What Possie is Coung Phan playing, played Juniors with him at North Pines then at Port Adelaide. Was a good Ruckman then Center Half Forward, but being Asian we thought he would eventually stop growing!

Hes a big unit with a big mullet! Hes a utility. it will depend on our team balance and who we playin against where he lines up.

He played on Roo in the GF, didnt he ? Thought he did a reasonable job that day, with the one-on-one marking stuff.

He does have an ordinary hair cut, thats for sure ! ;)

Makes three of us! I think they have gone for the Twitter, Facebook and iPhone Market and forgot about the guys who spend most of the day at work in front of a PC! We here at the **** Council we were looking to upgrade our Internet page and incorporate Facebook, Twitter and the third party type sites, but we could not get everything to run completely smoothly so they are still looking at ironing out the Chincks!

This is what my page says:

Your browser is insecure, outdated and unsupported.

For best security, efficiency and access to all SAAFL website features, upgrade to any of these free modern browsers: Internet Explorer 8, Chrome 4, Firefox 3.6, Safari 4

I am sure that the 33,000 global staff in my company agree with them, but I'm not sure that Mr I.T. man in New York knows whom the SAAFL are, nor intends changing our browsers so I can read the website. He might argue with the insecure and unsupported bit as well..............

How did PAOC look on saturday? They have a few handy inclusions. Thought they might get up by a few more on saturday. Who were the standouts?

It was a physical game, especially early. Seaton were definately cleaner with their skills, and had the better of us at most stoppages. Losing our CHF for the whole game just before halftime (because of his own stupidity  ) didnt help our cause either. Wanders was easily the best player on the ground, Coardy was also good off half back and that geriatric Marshall can still get a bit of it too ! His treatment of Portland's runner needs to be seriously looked at though ;)
I thought Laslett was very good for us, as was Birdy. Perkins battled his bum off all day too.
Not a disastrous start for us, but still showed we need to improve in a few areas. I think we have the basics of a reasonable side though. As for Seaton, they look strong, good mix of older blokes and a few kids. Its early days i know, but would think they will be around the mark.
Crowd was good too, plenty of good natured sledging and banter going on. And a fair few cans being consumed as well ! Look forward to the return bout in round 10 at the Thunderdome !

The serial pest runner needs to have a good hard look at himself!! Agree with the comments stated a really hard physical contest marred by some very over umpired decisions. Going to have that problem when two young guys who have been umpiring SANFL Under 18's come and umpire Amateur league games. Lot more contested footy that these umpires need adapt to, perhaps the powers at be need to let them know this. Great to see lots of Portland people hang around for a beer and a chat after the game.

Have To agree with Newman about the serial pest runner. I remember a game last year where all the runner wanted to do was to come out and abuse opposition players rather than deliver his message and get off the ground. Its just funny how there are two issues now and the same runner is involved, you do the maths and work out who the problem is. Im sure there are more people who can back this up too!!!!!!!

Get stuck into him diesel he is the david arnfield of the amateur league :D

Best umpire we have seen in SAAFL for a long while, and the Paddle Pop Lion wasn't too bad on Saturday either.

Fair point. They have lost Tyson and Rolphy though i.e. their two key forwards.

Did Tom Prest take any hangers on saturday? Can take a mark that kid.

I didn't see him take any but James Dalwood put a show on for the lads including one hanger in front of the crowd

Tom Prest kicked the winning goal right on the siren

Stephen White's going to worry a lot of teams - he is massive.

this division looks to be very even one this year i think most teams will be backing themselves to make the finals, and is going to make tipping winners pretty hard

How was Jon Temme's form. I heard he played CHB. Don't think he's played in that possie too often.
