Interesting finish to the season, Lockleys wont (shouldn't) drop top spot, from there until 6th it's really wide open. Smart money would lock CBC for 4/4 to close out the year and likely 2nd spot, as Woody South will have their work cut out for them against Lockleys Rd 17.

Hope Valley travelling to Smithfield in the last game could be a tough ask depending on who the Panther have available.

Get around Ingle Farm.. last month has been a vast improvement, reversed results against Smithfield & Blackfriars while also had a 10 goal improvement over Woody South & Lockleys... competitive in patches.. Just wish could get a consistent side every week, but still we hope to have an impact over the last month still.

Woody South still the real dark horse for the flag IMO - Casazza & Green up forward is potent, Cavallaro, Coppola on the inside with O'Regan x2 on the outside, and Ridgeway in the ruck - it's a well balanced and complimentary group.

I personally think that Woody South are no good. Lockleys and Pultney have been CBC's only real challenge this year and thats only been due to injuries and a poor mindset. CBC have a point to prove this year and I think we will close out the season in a strong fashion with players filtering back into the team.
CBC A grade on the other hand are the real deal, I don't see anyone matching up against them.

Hardly surprising and to put it nicely both the A's & B's are a confident bunch

They are a bloody good side, It will be tough for anyone to beat them. But finals can chuck up unexpected challenges.

indeed..very talented group and full credit to them with the display they showed, once they got hold of the game they were ruthless and clinical..approximately 75% of them or more have played 16s, 18s, reserves or league at sanfl clubs or at div 1 levels..when you can add a lad straight out of league ranks to just a half back flank you know you are in good shape..include harris, johansen, frederick and pasiczynskyj who all missed saturdays game and they are in the box seat for the flag..

Yet don't you have the luxury of playing someone straight from SANFL reserves in your B grade?

we have a ruck who goes ok in the A grade already..

we want continuity of playing games with our A graders..port had a bye last week so he was available after playing 3-4 for pafc..he will most likely play the rest of the season with pafc so we wont see him till finals again..

Sorry, that wasn't meant to be harsh but it says that if they're that much better than you guys on a given day, then it feels a bit done and dusted, doesn't it...

although we all know things can change in finals...

B Grade
Woodville South vs Pulteney
4.4 - 1.0
6.6 - 2.1
10.8 - 2.1
15.9 - 2.1

Woodville South win by 86 points. Pulteney 1 goal after quarter time, and scoreless second half.

Woodville South vs Ingle Farm

7.4 - 0.0
12.4 - 0.1
14.9 - 2.2
16.13 - 3.5

Woodville South win by 86 points. Ingle Farm lose second half 33-22 and 4 goals to 3 after being scoreless first quarter, & kept to 1 point in the first half.

Therefore we must deduct.. Ingle Farm > Pulteney. 8)

More amazing, irrefutable Ingle Farm statistics..
vs KEN 39-126
vs CBC 22-194
vs PUL 42-126
vs SMI 88-146
vs WS 43-108
vs LOC 29-174
vs BOS 55-156

Ingle Farm trailed by only couple of kicks early in the 3rd vs WS, and only trailed by 33pts at 3/4 time. Least amount of points they've conceded in the past 7 games, and the 3rd highest they've scored in that period. Only two games higher were Smithfield who are weak, and BOS who have a tiny ground conducive to scoring. Therefore Round 12 has been arguably the Farmers best performance in nearly two months.

Round 12 also had 'M. Bedgegood' in their lineup for the first and only time.

Therefore we must deduct... M. Bedgegood playing makes Ingle Farm a far better side. 8)

Have you seen the performance of Port's reserves this year and the quality of footballers filling their side? There are a number from the SFL and they can't make the A grade when they come back to local level.

Past players day at Ingle Farm this week.. looking forward to catching up with Half Back Flanker..

Going to set myself the challenge of drinking 1x beer for every goal Hope Valley kick in the C grade and A grade.. and maybe a skittle bomb for every goal Darren Mitchell slots in the C grade... should be a fun day :D

I'll offset it with a water for every goal Ingle Farm kick in the C grade and A grade as well. 8) #DrinkResponsibly
