His skills are still outstanding. Fitness isn't there anymore but he can control the game without moving from the centre square, so he never really has to run.

How'd Swid go on the weekend CJ?

cj_blacks wrote:Duncs i cant understand how you act like Eliz are so good... i played Cs for uni a couple of times against your As last year and they honestly werent that good. We were well undermanned both times and were beaten but in the context of the game they are pretty average and you go round acting like they are some sort of super talent.

Not that good! Nearly undefeated all year, Smash the highest SAAFL score ever by 10 goals! 8th highest ever score in senior Australian Rules Football. Yeah we were pretty average werent we?

Ha I dont know about Mellor, hardly seen him since he taught me in year 7 moved to Mercedes and now travelling i believe. I think Mase is pretty comfortable with Uni for the time being and well Trimmers is Rostrevor through and through but we'll keep in his ear and you never know.

Pag,

What can you tell me about Nathan Schumann - he's been cleared to play for Paringa this year.

Also, I found it interesting to note former Salisbury player David Couzner, whose been playing for Hamley Bridge, has been cleared to Waikerie.

Is he still as good a player as when he was a teenager. I know he was a big tough bugger then. Is he still now? Must be going on to 33/34 years old?

My knowledge of the amatuers has fallen a bit since bieng involved last season but i think that in Div 1 seaton may surprise a few people. I know a player out there and they have trained hard all pre-seaon and may surprise a few of the 'gun' teams. Div 2 - Gepps will be at the top for most of the season, disappointing season last year to to a variety of things but they are back this season.

Div 7 will see blackfriars on top being chased by the bumblebees st pauls all season.

Played junior footy with him and later on he worked with my brother.

Loved the rough stuff back then.
