I don't think their is such thing as a sh*t guernsey or colours (exception: Fremantle), they are the ambassadors of each club, I think it's great seeing blokes proudly wearing their club shirts and stuff outside of footy. Reprazent!

I actually really like Unley's jumper. The black and blue look good together, only guernsey I've ever seen with that combination.Jabber wrote:I reckon the simplesty jumpers are always the best ones, eg bombers, tigers, magpies, hawks, etc... I like Plympton's because its simple, and vertical stripes are always good for those of us that enjoy one too many pies!
I hate clubs that bugger around with thier jumpers, make it too detailed, plaster club emblems all over the front of them etc.
Also there has never in the history of australian rules been a jumper design that is majority white that looks good, they all look rubbish.
Houghton, Kenilworth, Kilburn (although they may have changed since i saw thier last one), all rubbish jumpers with too much crap on them. Also Unley because dark blue and black look too similar. Haven't seen north pines actually play but the picture of that jumper is woeful, also Mitchell Park, look like a bunch of toffee apple lollies (remember the toffee apple lollies you could get at the deli?) running around a footy oval.

i was not a fan of Fitzroy's blue strip with a lion/unicorn on it.
Our club switched back to the legendary FFC strip & won a flag instantly.
Nice, simple & bright.
Vive la Fitzroy!
That same jumper didn't cause the Brisbane Lions any grief although the blue was a bit darker.

I have always like Sturt's jumper and I reckon that Mitcham's is stylish with blue and a gold sash - a very rare design but few people would actually hate how it looks.
