I reckon the simplesty jumpers are always the best ones, eg bombers, tigers, magpies, hawks, etc... I like Plympton's because its simple, and vertical stripes are always good for those of us that enjoy one too many pies!

I hate clubs that bugger around with thier jumpers, make it too detailed, plaster club emblems all over the front of them etc.

Also there has never in the history of australian rules been a jumper design that is majority white that looks good, they all look rubbish.

Houghton, Kenilworth, Kilburn (although they may have changed since i saw thier last one), all rubbish jumpers with too much crap on them. Also Unley because dark blue and black look too similar. Haven't seen north pines actually play but the picture of that jumper is woeful, also Mitchell Park, look like a bunch of toffee apple lollies (remember the toffee apple lollies you could get at the deli?) running around a footy oval.

Okay, I'll bite. I don't see a problem with having a graphic on the guernsey - there are only so many workable colours, why have everybody in stripes - do we all need slimming patterns eh? (Come to think of it, some of our lads could use vertical stripes  )

I don't think their is such thing as a sh*t guernsey or colours (exception: Fremantle ;) ), they are the ambassadors of each club, I think it's great seeing blokes proudly wearing their club shirts and stuff outside of footy. Reprazent!

Mitchell Park and North Pines aren't too appealing on the eye, I must admit. Then again I suppose I agree with the old adage that "red and green should never been seen together".

Any jumper with black and white stripes is hard to stomach - I had to play in those colours for a couple of seasons in Melbourne!

... you should see their supporters!
Even Collingwood supporters have more teeth!
One in particular shouts out in a gravelly voice "haaaaaaaaarrrrrreeeeeessssperrrrrrffffffff!"
... and he's one of the brighter ones!

I have always like Sturt's jumper and I reckon that Mitcham's is stylish with blue and a gold sash - a very rare design but few people would actually hate how it looks.

i was not a fan of Fitzroy's blue strip with a lion/unicorn on it.
Our club switched back to the legendary FFC strip & won a flag instantly.
Nice, simple & bright.
Vive la Fitzroy!

That same jumper didn't cause the Brisbane Lions any grief although the blue was a bit darker.

it looked nothing like Brisbanes- Image

Yes morphies jumpers are absolutely horrid, but they arent in the SAAFL last time i checked, so therefore dont get a mention. Don't you guys, or didnt you guys at one stage have a kookaburra on the front of your jumper? thats the one i'm talking about.

Also Sydney Uni is another side i played for and they had royal blue and gold hoops, not cool!!

In answer to your question, zero is the number of other red and black bulldogs i've seen apart from plympton, so yes i'd say that it has a touch of originality to it, seeing most of them are red white and blue.

I think maybe its because everytime we played at Kingswood it would be pissing down and a mud heap, no matter if it was 25 and sunny everywhere else!!! throw a splash of water on those jumpers and they just look dark and thats it.
