sprint we have 42 votes maximum to divide among the 21 players (can be less if team is beaten badly, eg only 33 votes were issued vs plympton in round 10)

4 outstanding game
3 very good game
2 good game
1 average or worse

5 votes extra for bog 3 votes 2nd 1 vote 3rd.

eg lee duggan polled 8 votes troy gibbs 6 votes and craig wintle 4 votes vs elizabeth rest polled 3 2 or 1

hope thats not too complicated to understand and i noticed the adelaide crows have gone to something very similar

Was just about to post this myself. Great to see shamo win this award.
He has been an absolute star this year, and i think it shows jsut how the umpires in DIv 1 have no F***ing idea.

Has it ever happened that, the minor premiers Best and Fairest winner not poll one single vote in the association medal??

interesting to note, Pav coming third after missing 6-8 games in the middle of the year. SHows how dominant he has been when fit

Yeah I heard about that and heard a few people down at Henley found it bizzare. Doesn't talk to the umps so not sure why they didn't give him votes. He had games where he kicked 4 or 5 and had a heap of the ball. Pretty strange

Questions over his fitness level were the major factor Brayman. Would envisage him mostly playing A's next year though.

Ovingham BnF results from last night

A's

1. R. Jurina 112
2. A. Cooke 111
3. B. Fuller 106
4. L. Long 49
4. C. Jones 49
6. N. Mudge 43
7. M. Newman 36
8. B. Lines 33

had to go down to there to keep the boys happy...
3 cards of 5-1 each round and it came down to the final card of the last round to be decided, a good count it was, Benny (our young ruckman) would've won it too if he played more than 11 games for they year, started in the magoos and only played A's from rd 7, a good effort...

B's

Joint Winners
J. Kelman and T. Georgiadis

R/Up
J.Murray

That A Cooke bloke must have been pi$$ed at losing by only one vote ;)

Happened to me one year - I was rested for the last game for finals and the other bloke got a BOG to win it. I still take the pi$$ out of the coach.....................and we lost the GF
