I didnt think the draw had been finalised yet? doesnt that mean that the SAAFL could simply put another team from C6 into their spot?

nope we will have a bye - if you bring another one up can stuff up the entire draw through all the grades

We still have a final 5 though - only drops to a 4 if we have 8 teams or less

Instead of having Byes in C4 and C5 this would be the better solution. Moving up the Higher ranked D grade sides. C4 and C5 have 10 sides and C6 has 8
C4
Unley
Fitzroy
Woodville South
Adelaide University (G)
Broadview (D)
Pulteney
Golden Grove
Pooraka
Westminster OS
Salisbury

C5
Plympton
Elizabeth
Mitcham (D) (or West lakes, Prince Alfred)
Hope Valley
Adelaide University (H)
Brahma Lodge
Adelaide Lutheran
Hectorville
Blackfriars
North Haven

C6
Golden Grove (D)
Lockleys
Trinity OS
SMOSH West Lakes (D)
Ingle Farm
Prince Alfred OC (D)
Paralowie
Salisbury (D)

Trust you to be happy with a Bye

Common sense say's u got 28 sides in 3 Divisions, you go 10,10,8 not 9,9,10!

Also easier to align The D grade sides into the programing of the missing C grade sides from the corresponding division

I did apologise for that comment. But well u gotta know Pricey to understand it lol

And 100% he will be coaching the C grade in 2010. One thing i will give him credit for. He busts his gut to get a side on the park every week. Wasnt easy some weeks, see him tearing his hair out b4 the away games lol

So i do have a lot of respect for him and the other lower grade coaches that do whatever they can to field a side.

Pretty sure blackfriars don't have a C grade, should be Flinders Park (D)

I'm happy with the bye anyway, means only 4 games will be away from A's and B's. Certainly makes a difference with getting helpers when all 3 sides are together...

If North Haven dont get side on park may go back to 8 teams anyway and then u lose the bye.Sad to see Hectorville didnt jump on the triple headers and Adelaide Lutheran didnt seen real keen either.
Good on Hope valley, Brahma Lodge, Elizabeth, Plympton who didnt care about the earily starts and looks as if Hope valley don't care what time or day they play as long as they get a game good to see

Not bad in theory, But amateur league would be keen to keep Broadies in C6 as the last few years the side was made up of mainly deaf guys. Nothin wrong with a bye, especially in the C sections gives the old legs and weary bones a rest
